Do you love strolling along the shore and discovering beautiful shells? So do we!

Our shell club is a community of shell enthusiasts who enjoy exploring, collecting, and learning about the incredible variety of shells found right here in our local area.

Join us at one of our monthly meetings at the Bay County Library. Bring your curiosity, and we'll bring the snacks.

FOUNDING:

The Gulf Coast Shell Club was founded in 1980, by Bob Granda.

PURPOSE:

To catalogue the marine mollusks of the Florida Panhandle, and to educate the public on their beauty and diversity.

We strive to fulfill this purpose through our monthly meetings, our book, and our annual shell show.

The Gulf Coast Shell Club is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization whose goals are to promote the interest in shell collecting and mollusks and to support protection of their aquatic environment.
