The Gulf Coast Shell Club is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization whose goals are to promote the interest in shell collecting and mollusks and to support protection of their aquatic environment.

FOUNDING:
The Gulf Coast Shell Club was founded in 1980, by Bob Granda.
PURPOSE:
To catalogue the marine mollusks of the Florida Panhandle, and to educate the public on their beauty and diversity.
We strive to fulfill this purpose through our monthly meetings, our book, and our annual shell show.
